BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The elected Board of Directors plays a pivotal role in guiding CCIHSS, steering the organization towards its defined vision and mission. Comprising a diverse and committed group of individuals, the Board brings a wealth of varied backgrounds and perspectives that collectively shape the trajectory of our organization.
The Boards role is comprehensive and influential. The Executive Director actively participates in all Board meetings, offering invaluable guidance and insights. Although the Executive Director does not hold voting privileges, their role as trusted advisor enriches the discussions within the Board and its committees. Decision-making within the Board is characterized by a spirit of consensus, fostering collaboration and shared responsibility. A critical aspect of the Board’s mandate involves establishing and refining policies. These policies create a robust governance framework, ensuring that our actions align with our core values and objectives. Operational procedures are meticulously crafted for efficiency, while the governance framework remains steadfast in upholding transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct.
The Board’s Annual General Meeting of CCIHSS holds in July.
